Rehabilitation is an important step in the treatment and recovery process following any type of sports or work injury. Gentle work in our rehab gym also forms part of the treatment protocols for chiropractic patients to increase your strength and mobility once we have stabilised your problem.

Medical Exercise Therapy

Our rehab gym is not the same as a normal leisure centre or private gyms as our equipment is specialist Medical Exercise Therapy equipment flown in from Norway.

Medical Exercise Therapy (MET) is an active rehabilitation system based on more than 30 years of clinical experience and research. The MET approach offers the latest in active rehabilitation. Through active, graded exercises patients can be put straight into an exercise program treating pain, decreased motion, increase endurance and strength as well as improving activities of daily living.

Skilled, professional staff

Not only have we recently renovated our rehabilitation gym but we have added two new experts to our team. We are thrilled that fitness instructors are available to create personalised exercise programmes and offer advice on nutrition to our patients.

Under their supervision you will be taught how to correctly perform the exercises as you go through your individually tailored programme. You will also receive tuition on exercises and stretches that you can safely perform at home.

Whether you are an experienced gym user or have never set foot in a leisure centre, our skilled staff can develop a programme to reach your goals safely and efficiently.
